Buckle up babes, this review is going to be long!

I started with Team Atlas 6 months ago with a dream of getting on stage for the first time. I couldn’t believe I was crazy enough to “start” almost 10 months out. I was absolutely terrified with as much imposter syndrome as one could have and not having a single clue how to pose, let alone what the heck I was getting myself into.

The beginning: the communication was top notch and has been since day 1. I was sent SO much valuable information; basically everything I’d possibly need and more for my prep.

The posing: I was immediately set up with posing classes with Lina. Just after a few classes I felt like I knew SO much about posing already. I see others (not from team atlas) posing and feel SO grateful for our posing coaches being the BEST and it shows. And for a very fair price!

The meal plan: being someone who’s only done macros for years, I was terrified of a meal plan. I was told I’d never last on a meal plan this long. Well here I am absolutely THRIVING on it. We use a food swap calculator that is SO dialed in to keep us clean but also provide flexibility when we need it. I am honestly so obsessed with every single one of my meals.

The coaches: I couldn’t be more obsessed. I’ve had several coaches through lifestyle in the past. Some didn’t light enough fear in me. Some were easily offended. Sabra and James put the perfect amount of pressure by pushing you right past what you thought was your best. And they aren’t afraid to laugh with you and at you! This will easily be one of the most difficult things you’ve ever done in your life. It’s important to have coaches that you can laugh with. Not only that, they put SO much care and detail into your results. They believe in me more than I believe in myself at times and treat me no differently than they would their pro athletes. I’m still so blown away by how much they care about me succeeding and being my best. There is a reason why they make the most pros and this is it. Even if you have 3 kids, 38 years old, with bad genetics you’ll hear them say “moms are their favorite because they get s#!+ done.”

The outcome: I’m still 13 weeks out but will be back to edit this review with my results because I know I’m going to kill it. I have so much pride walking out onto that stage knowing I’m representing TEAM ATLAS with flawless posing and a jaw dropping physique. People are already telling me I look insane for 13 weeks out!

I have had James and Team atlas as a coach since August 2023. In that time James has helped me develop into an Open qualified and top five national level bikini masters athlete. My best showings before hiring James were moderate local showings and next to last nationally. He is detailed oriented and extremely meticulous. As always, the effort made by the athlete is important, but his coaching and feedback, when applied appropriately, yield incredible results. On top of that the posing coaching offered is wonderful. There are two options for posing coaches and I’ve always used Victoria. She is very talented and the lessons combined with my dedication to improving my posing have made something very unpolished and rudimentary much more presentable and effortless – a better fit for the stages I compete on. In addition, I had an injury during our second year coaching contract and the team was understanding and helpful when I communicated my issue. They offered for me to pause my coaching, allowing me to protect my investment and pick up when my drs cleared me to begin consistent training again. I have always felt heard and supported. I have never felt forced to just “follow the plan” and questions and concerns I bring are always addressed. There is a reason James and the team have the success record they do. 10/10 recommend.
